Sustainability & Suppliers

Working as a jeweller and metalsmith I am aware of the effect that this industry has on the environment and global communities. Sustainability and ethics are at the heart of my brand, and I am always considering ways to improve my practice. It is important to me to maintain complete transparency of my supply chain, materials and packaging. Below you will find a list of suppliers for my brand, and I am always keen to chat about my decision making process.
All jewellery is made from recycled sterling silver, which is not only kind to your skin, but long lasting. My designs are intended to be treasured forever and shared with loved ones. Any gold pieces will be 18 carat gold sterling silver or bronze.
Most of my semi precious stones are sourced locally, and I aim to buy them secondhand. I am hoping to source stones from UK mines in the future, to have a lower environmental and ethical impact.
Suppliers:
  • My hand carved wax objects are cast by Jewelcast and Jewellery Casting Scotland. Both hold moulds for me and are UK based.
  • Chains are bought through wholesale in Bristol and are manufactured by Croma Catene in Italy.
  • My silver and many of my tools are sourced from Cooksongold, other tool suppliers include HS Walsh & Cousins.
  • My jewellery boxes are from Westpack, and are made from FSC certified cardboard. They have a black foam insert currently but I am hoping to develop foam free packaging in the future.
  • For business cards I use vistaprint and their FSC certified recycled card.
  • My stamps are made by Get Stamped, and feature green rubber and a recycled wooden handle.
  • All orders are sent with Royal Mail's tracked service.
